Two kinds of knowledge 1) book smarts 2) street smarts. Examples and the difference. Most brands reply on book smarts with canned topline reports and canned insights. Why street smarts will set you apart.
Reminder - retainers want three things. Savvy retailers might even reward brand willing and able to be a category leader - what that means.
Example: How your new skills reduce out-of-stocks which embarrass your retail partner * your brand has your name on it * make it easy and safe for retailers to look to you for results - exceed their expectations. Remind how I would challenge retailers to trust me and how it payed off.
Leverage these skills to gain the edge you deserve. This also makes it easier for retailers to say yes to your recommendations and it make your brand more attractive to investors - remove the risk
